TOURS:

ROBIN INCE: PRAGMATIC INSANITY - AUTUMN 2017 TO SPRING 2018

Robin's first new stand up show in three years is a clash of two cultures, a joyous romp through his favourite artists and strangest scientific ideas. From the work of Stanley Spencer to Niels Bohr, it is 90 minutes fizzing with ideas about creativity in science and art, as well as asking why we believe we see what we see and why we believe what we believe.

AUTUMN TOUR: CHAOS OF DELIGHT (see dates below)

Also, BBC 6 MUSIC: LAMACQ
Robin continues his regular appearances on the Steve Lamacq show, using his vast musical knowledge to profile a listener - cold reading put to good use.

And, Robin writes regularly for Big Issue, things like this.

MOST LIVE DATES:

2018

(Some dates feature protest/folk singer Grace Petrie, see Robin's Twitter for info)

(Also, a quick video of Robin by a keen arts centre, in case you've forgotten what he looks like, is here.)

TEARS OF A CLOWN
IPLAYER NOW AVAILABLE

How true is the image of the melancholy comedian? While the lives of Kenneth Williams, Tony Hancock and Spike Milligan are raked over with new books and documentaries appearing on a yearly basis, hundreds of comedians seemingly live and perform without facing anxiety that reaches clinical levels.

Is comedy just like every other profession, or is there a need for some loss or pain in childhood to create the outsider who wishes to spend each night making themselves face one of the top three fears of human beings, public speaking?

Find it here.
